Choreography hip hop dance moves12/2/2023 ![]() ![]() He has been noted for his compassion and ability to work well with others, steering clear of the typical "diva" stigma associated with Hollywood successes. Sparks' latest career recognition has been in the forms of both choreographer and judge on "So You Think You Can Dance," which continues to be a wildly successful television show. This evolved into opportunities to choreograph for big events such as the American Music Awards, and also to work with big artists in the music industry. He stretched the studio's capacities, bringing the hip hop class up from three students to over 175. He faked his way through the first portion of the class, and was then recruited by the actual teacher to be a dance assistant. His turn as a choreographer came when he was accidentally mistaken for a dance teacher, and asked to teach a class he was attending. Eventually, they broke up and Sparks went on to dance in music videos for prominent artists of the day such as Brandy Norwood. This team performed in talent competitions, which eventually led to his next gig as the crew transformed into a singing group called the Cold Premiere. ![]() He eventually moved to Los Angeles where he joined a dance troupe called Cold Krush. It should be noted that the video does not use the actual speed of the song, so it's better to master the hand movements before using the original beat.Born in Ohio, Sparks began dancing when he was 11 years old. Repeat the whole sequence for the rest of the chorus. Perform the first dance move one more time, before doing the chicken hands from left to right and ending the first sequence with a striking pose. This is then repeated but using the right arm and left foot this time. The move is repeated before going into a "line," starting with extending the left arm to the upper side while moving the right foot. Kamala Harris busted a move or two during a celebration of 50 years of hip-hop. The choreography of the chorus involves raising both arms to the left, doing a small clap, and then shaking the right arm downwards. The step is done twice before doing a bit of a sultry freestyle. This choreography class is a mixture of high energy dance moves, inspired by Hip Hop, Contemporary and West African Dance. Lastly - for the pre-chorus - extend both arms at shoulder level and then do a small bounce, facing front. Do a quick left-right-left movement with the feet while the arms form a circle, before doing an overhead once more. The sequence ends with a quick turn.Īfter the turn, cross the arms before throwing them high up in the air, with the right foot at the back. The overhead move is done twice before the dancer extends his right arm, moving it from left to right, and vice versa. The next dance step features another waacking dance move dubbed "overhead," in which the arms are placed around the collarbone area and then moved up and behind the neck. Afterward, do the step once again using the left arm, before raising both hands in the air. Next, extend the right arm to the side (shoulder level), and leave the left arm on the collarbone area once again. The step is repeated but with the left arm extended this time. In the "Super Shy" dance, however, the right arm is first extended to the upper right side, leaving the left arm in the collarbone area. #tutorial Super Shy - NewJeans #ชีวิตนักเต้น #supershy #newjeans ♬ Super Shy - NewJeansĪt the start of the clip, the dancer throws his arms in front of his chest, before proceeding to do a basic step in waacking called " lines." This is when the arms are extended to different sides of the body.
